Land at Wickerslack - Auction result

On the afternoon of Thursday 27^th February 2025, PFK Rural offered for sale 43.46 acres of mowing and grazing land located close to Wickerslack near to Shap.

Auctioneer Andrew Maughan, on the day assisting PFK Rural, offered for sale the land and after some rapid bidding, the land finally sold for a sum of £400,000 (£9,203 per acre).

PFK Rural were extremely pleased with the outcome of the sale and it was pleasing to note that even despite the issues facing the farming industry at present, the interest in the land came from the local farming community, thereby showing there is still a good interest in agricultural land within the county.
